Meet Patrick!
Meet Patrick, a strikingly handsome 3 year old Miniature American Shepherd looking for a home where he can truly shine. Patrick is 16 inches tall and stocky build. He has a strong desire to work and would be happiest with an active owner who can give him a job to do. He has spent time working with a professional trainer, who believes he would absolutely thrive in an agility or performance home. He is intelligent, athletic, eager to learn, and loves having both mental and physical outlets. Patrick is crate-trained and sleeps through the night. After a full day of activity, he will often put himself to bed in his crate—a great example of his ability to settle once his needs have been met.
He gets along well with most other dogs, but because of his prey drive, he would do best in a home without cats or other small animals. Patrick is an incredibly handsome boy with so much potential. If you’re looking for an active, enthusiastic partner for adventures, training, or dog sports, Patrick could be a wonderful fit. At Rebel Soul Minis, we occasionally have older Miniature American Shepherds (Mini Aussies) available for new homes. These may be puppies we’ve raised and decided not to keep for our own program, or adults who are retiring from breeding and ready to enjoy life as beloved companions. Most of our placements are in family pet homes, but at times we also make select dogs available to small, responsible breeding programs. This helps ensure that the breed remains healthy and genetically diverse, while also allowing every dog in our care to receive the individual love and attention they deserve throughout their lives. For families who would prefer to skip the busy puppy stage, an older puppy or adult can also be a wonderful fit.
